This project was given to me as part of the Professional Practice module during my final year at university. The brief was given to use by a local agency, this one was provided by The Dragonfly Agency.
The brief was to create a new visual style guide for one of the UK's leading real estate agencies Knight Frank, whilst using their current brand guidelines, and bringing the proposition 'Your Partners in Property' to life.
For my concept I wanted to create something that would connect to their customers on a location specific basis, and with further developed could be used wold wide. As this was only a 2 week project it could only be shown on a local scale, therefore I presented my concept for use in the UK.
I also wanted my concept to relate back to the housing industry, this is why I choose to illustrate the national flowers of England, Wales and Scotland. This idea came from most people getting flowers when they move into a new home and as they can all naturally be grown in gardens.
The illustrations would be the main element of the design that are used in any possible assets throughout the business they are also the interchangeable part of the design that would be changed depending on the country the branch is operating in.
The main deliverable for this project was a new visual style guide for a piece of direct mail, however we were encouraged to show the new style on different type of assets, such as business cards, for sale/sold signs, shop fronts and anything we thought suited Knight Frank.
