As part of my Major Project on the subject of gender I created a series of posters to encourage a conversation around the gender binary, roles and stereotypes the posters specifically focus on how we gender toys and therefore are pushing these gender roles and stereotypes onto children through the objects that bing them entertainment and them help develop both mentally and physically.
Along side these poster I also created a series of quote posters from well known celebrities that have spoken about raising children as gender neutral or raising children with a gender neutral life style are the forefront of their upbringing. The purpose of these posters was to support and back the conversation that could be had as a result of this poster series.
